G5 quiver parts1/4/2024 First, let’s talk about the G5 Outdoors Head-Loc 6 Arrow Quiver. This insanely quiet quiver can hold 6 arrows. The G5 Head-Loc Base Post is fully rubber-coated. It allows you to quietly mount or detach the quiver from your bow silently. In addition, you can individually adjust the arrows holder as your necessity.Ĭoming to the G5 Head-Loc Air 4 Arrow Quiver, it is quite similar except it has a much minimal structure and holds up to 4 arrows. It holds all the standard arrows tightly and pulling arrows are easier with spacious inner gaps. Question: Will G5 Arrow Guiver fit a pse dna bow?Īnswer: The quiver does not mount directly to the bow (no 1-piece quiver does). I'll sadly probably end up using it over my expensive T3.The quiver mount attaches to your sight, and this quiver mount has standard-sized mounting holes, so as long as your sight has standard-sized mounting holes on it for a quiver, it will fit. You get a top notch piece of gear for a third the price or less. Most economical quiver on the market imo. Im not sure is that is a result of user error trying to tighten while cocked or if it's just what happens when you use plastic. The only issues Ive heard about are some guys manage to crack the mount so it won't tighten. The quality is top of the line and the price keeps dropping. Overall I would say the head loc by G5 is the best quiver on the market for the money. Tho I can tweak that with a little trimming of the aluminum mount. The %5 also sits tighter to the bow than my T3. I also don't like that there is only 1 point of contact on the arrow shaft and foam in the hood instead of the g5 which has nothing to contact blades and holds the shaft in 2 places. The mount is metal on metal so you have to be careful. I bought a T3 for my zxt and like it a lot less despite the fact it was more expensive. When I bought mine they were 80$$ price dropped a lot.Īs far as the mount goesIi like it a lot. I love that they give you an extra tree peg to mount on the tree. I found the best way to get arrows in and out is to slide them in the rubber so the head is out of the hood before you take the arrow out of the holders. i like that the whole quiver slides on the carbon rods and is adjustable up and down so you can customise to fit your bow perfectly. Montecs and hellrazors fit great but some larger diameter heads will take the right positioning. I used one all of last season and love it. I think the Head Loc's mounting system is so good I wish other people would copy their style. So, is the G5 Head Loc the best quiver mounting system there is and if not, what do you think is the best? I believed him because it was nearly impossible to get off when it wasn't on a bow. The guy at the shop said it is much easier when it's on a bow. I tried a Alpine Soft-Loc quiver in the store but couldn't get it apart. And although it's not super hard to mount in the dark the G5 is very easy to mount, even in the dark. If you loosen or tighten it it will either be too loose or too tight. The Tightspot quiver has a similar lever locking mount but it can be loosened or tightened which I actually don't like. The exo-flex hood is extremely quiet, lightweight, and also has superior absorbing properties over traditional plastic. The Head-Lock rubber compression technology acts as an isolator between the quiver and the bow, greatly reducing noise and vibration. It is just a lever that goes up and down. Head-lock quivers work to kill noise and vibration with its unique mounting system. One of the things I really like about the G5 over the other quivers I've seen is the mounting bracket. If the G5 could do this I would have bought it since a new Tightspot is $130 and a new G5 can be bought for around $40. One is that Ramcats don't fit in the G5 and two is that the G5 won't hold the thin VAPS that I shoot. I was was almost going to buy the G5 Head Loc quiver but I have two issues. I just bought a used Tightspot to replace my lost used Tightspot.
